iSimple?
Bought the USA Spec one and it works perfectly.
i dont like anything having to do with any fm transmitter.. They suck even at time if u drive by another car in the highway using a fm transmitter eighter on the same fm station or close to it u can catch his music now you have to switch a lane over or speed up lmao..
I have the iSimple for my non-nav 05 TL. I absolutely love it. I am able to control my iPod through my dials or steering wheel buttons. Best $200 mod I've ever done, $150 for the iSimple and $50 for labor.

I have an iSimple as well in my 06 with nav. I like it for the most part. It a bit flaky with displaying the information on the nav screen. Sometimes I have to switch to the radio and back to the iSimple to get the artist and song info back. The interface to control the iPod is the best it can be given the situation. I also recommend that if you install it yourself, stick it somewhere where you can get at it. The company does do firmware updates, so in case you need to do it later, you'll be able to get at your unit to do the upgrade.

+1 on the USA-Spec statement. Have it in my car and its great. Plug your iPod/iPhone in and it automatically transfers the audio source and starts playing.
What part didn't work? I agree, with the UPDATED firmware, I had issues with initialization, but as soon as I downgraded to .36 it works flawlessly!! Very happy myself.
Follow the instructions for your model.

I just found the link to the old software on the pac-audio site, then followed the normal firmware upgrade process. Worked flawlessly.
Found by AirKilroy in a different thread.

EDIT: I guess it was .38, not .36...

I'm going to call them this morning as soon as I get some caffeine in my system!

I did see it, but unfortunately I have no idea. The one thing they'll probably recommend is to reset the module. To do this, you have to take it apart, flip it over to the bottom of the board, and short the leads of the capacitor that has the "X" on it. To short it out, you just take a screwdriver or similar across the two leads. This should drain the voltage from the capacitor, reseting the device. If you do this first and it doesn't help, then call them for the next step.
Good luck and let us know what you find out.
