hey im new to the forums. just got my acura tl a few weeks ago. i'm looking to upgrade the system. i have been trying to read/ask around, it seems the stock deck needs to stay.

first and foremost, what is the best/economic ipod adapter? i just want to be able to shuffle using my steering wheel controls. i DON'T use bluetooth/xm or anything like that. only function i use is the navigation. which one is the best for me?

next, i want to do a fair simple/clean sounding system. i've been recommended a 5-channel amp for simplicity/size. then a components set for the front, and a pair for the rear. probably bypass the center speaker. primarly my concern is what is the best way to amplify it? whats everyone using to get that aftermarket deck sound, without an aftermarket deck?

please, if possible, give me direct names or links so i can aim to buy this stuff. i have seen 3-4 year old threads referenced frequently.
