I bought my 06 TL off a guy who snaked a wire for ipod's through the left side panel of the radio. when i plugged in my iphone4s its said it was not compatible... is there a way to change/fix this so it can be compatible with iphone4s?

 

Do you know what kind of aftermarket part he installed? Is it an iSimple, USA-SPEC, DICE, or another type?

nvm found the thread regarding this after a long search... if only the previous owner installed USAspec. guess i'll just live with being unable to use my car's controls :/

 

That's odd, I have an iSimple gateway and an iPod Touch (4th Gen) and I can control it from the stereo and steering wheel. Are you setting it to iPod or AUX1 when you are selecting the input method?
