HEY GUYS CAN SOMEONE PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHICH UNIT TO GET FOR MY 08 TL W/ NAV...I WOULD LIKE THE UNIT TO PLAY "VIDEOS" (MP3, WMA....) FROM MY IPHONE, CHARGE MY IPHONE, BE ABLE TO USE THE NAV AND OTHER CAR FEATURES WITHOUT DISTRUPTION, AND BE ABLE TO INSTALL IT THROUGH THE TRUNK WITH OUT TAKING THE NAV/STEREO OUT.

Hey...I don't know anything about the USA model...But I have the iSimple in my 07 Type S...Its great. works flawlessly. I have no Complaints. I'm not sure if its just for the type s or not but I bought a harness so I could plug directly into the XM module in the trunk. Instead of removing the radio.

Super simple and works great. It's been installed for 11 mons now.

Ohhh I just read that you wanna play "videos". Not gonna happen with just the iSimple.

I'd like to do this also...Maybe someone will chime in on if there is a unit that works insync with the unit.

 

Thanx 4 the reply. I believe according to the link , the USA Spec PA15-ACUxL does play videos from your iphone..., but I was under the impression that the Isimple does that too.. I guess not.. any other suggestions guys as im looking to do this hookup very soon.

I'm gonna do some research on that USA model and see what it's all about.

 

Don't both of those devices play video through the ip, but not on the navi obviously.

Which model of iSimple do you have? What are the differences, their site sucks @$$!

 

just installed the ISIM73 on my 04 Tl w Navi, easy install, took no longer than an hour to do cause I removed the left side of the console to see the XM harness.

the ISIM73 works perfect with my iPhone 4S and charges the phone
