New to the board so I apologize if this has already been answered. I just recently purchased an '04 TL w/o Navi and I'm an iPhone user (3GS now but an upgrade soon). Looking for some feedback on good solutions to integrate the ipod functionality with the stereo. I've used basic cigarette lighter fm transmitters in the past and wasn't impressed.

I'm looking for something a little nicer that will charge the phone while providing good sound quality and not leave me with wires all over the place. Not looking to break the bank but want to do it right. I see best buy has some deal with a wired FM transmitter installed for like $149 but it seems like a very basic solution. Also - need ideas on some kind of a mount to hold the phone. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

Search for iSimple, or Neopro and you'll get a few hits here. You can find these respective web sites that should have the latest information about these products.

I use the Neopro-Link and there are lots of people using the iSimple interface. I have a nav, but I think those devices work for non-nav. Mine interfaces to the upper dash display too. There are some good threads on installing these adapters and you can do the work without pulling the radio even if you have small hands and patience.

 

Yea, get an iSimple. I got mine off eBay for $100, retails almost $200. Works perfectly in my car, sound quality is as good as it gets.

 

I have the iSimple also, 07 w/Nav, and I love it !! $200+ for mine, installed.
