maybe I'll take pics later, but I have single super white LED's for all my interiors and it's bright as hell. Take my word for it, you don't need 48924 board LED, single is just fine and isn't over powering or underpowered. Quantity: 6
Product: WLED-xHP High Power LED bulb $ 4.95 (each)
Options: Pure White WLED-WHP

Ok, ill take pics later :p

It can be a pain in the ass to get out, but it removes just like the vanity lights.

This diagram is pretty good but I found that it is easier to use two small thin screwdrivers; one between the metal frame and the headliner and one between the frame and the plastic lens assembly. Use the screwdriver between the frame and the headliner to push in the lens tab and then use the screwdriver between the frame and lens to pry out the lens.

When pushing in the lens tab be careful not to push too hard or you will bend the tab and it won't hold the lens in place when replaced.

Also it is very helpful to remove the lens from the electrical connector so that when replacing the bulb you don't accidentally cross the metal connectors shorting out the circuit and blow the fuse.

i found an easier way of getting the vanity and trunk open.

i have a gerber pocket multitool. it has a flat head screw driver. it's pretty wide and thin...

i then used a smaller screw driver to pry the plastic cover as i fish for the tab.. i just gently rocked it back and forth and once i hit it, the small screw driver pops it out.

i'll take pictures since i bought the wrong bulb for the trunk

i just ordered $142 worth of leds from v-led to complete this mod.

it took me some time to figure out exactly what needed to be replaced. once mine get all in and i get the opportunity to install everything, i can post some photos.

If you mean the exterior side markers, they are already LED. They are replaceable, but unless you go out & buy OEM replacements you need to do some work. 3G Garage has a few DIY threads on replacing them.

If you mean the door courtesy lights, they are 921 wedge type bulbs. You can get the ones that fire straight out, as that is the direction you want the light to go. You want something similar to these:

Check the 3G Garage---there is a thread there about changing the LEDs in the side markers. I believe he used an LED module from oznium.com. Another guy used switchbacks for his, so they glow white and blink amber---cool stuff and its all in the Garage.
