Ok, so let me get this straight because I'm slow.
Socket 194 will do the trick for all interior light, and you say it's also the same for the license plate light? I'm definitely going to do this asap. Bear with me though, as I stated, I'm slow
Also: What color is that considered? White? Some type of blue?

The cops around you also would love for you to illuminate your plate with the brightest lights. ???? You'd be insane to LED your license plate.

I'm thinking seriously of the LED strips for the footwells (in blue) front & rear. I read a post where the person hooked them up to be always on with a switch to turn them off when desired.
Of course, all of these will need to be switched out to purple for football season---Go Ravens!!!

thanks for the info this is a must!! asap!! lol
hey man thanks for the info... this is a must for any car... can led with less like 20 be good enough for the car, cause i fear that 30 would be two bright especially four X 30 leds lol

20's will be more than fine. I have one single high powered in all of my domes and they're pretty bright.

I just want to know which one to buy because I bought some from a guy on ebay but they worked for a week but after that they started flashing and I removed them.
I want to know somebody that has had them for a while and are working fine. Where did you buy them from?

I got my 12 led boards on Ebay, from JLED??? i think. Something like that. JDAM perhaps. Anyway, same thing as the above pics. I've tried a few different LED's. Single LED's are slightly brighter than stock, circular pattern multiple LED's are only marginally better, but the boards are definitely the way to go. I currently have blue LED's (12 LED boards) and they are quite nice, and I have 4 sets of red ones that I'm going to try out. Here's a tip. Go to your local (gay) crafts shop and get some styrofoam, cut it into a shape to fit the space, and glue in place, then tape your led boards to them.

I have the 30 boards in my front domes (2) and 12LED wedges in the rear domes and doors (4)---all blue and bright as hell. My vanities, license plate and reverse lights are all white. Also have blue #74 in my glove box and console. I'll have to post new pics of the 30LED boards---they REALLY made a difference.

Yes, the LED units brighten and dim just like the stock lights. They don't quite dim down smoothly all the way to off---they kinda dime out to a certain point then switch off. Its not very noticeable and still looks cool.

The 30 LED board is bright as hell and really looks great. The 12 LED bulbs are good for the rear seats, as the bulbs fire down from the ceiling in the rear. In the front, go with the boards since the bulbs will fire toward the rear of the car and not down toward the seats.
I still have to get those pics posted for you.

Front 30LED boards from v-leds
Front 12LED bulbs for comparison. Consider that this pic was taken much closer to the lights. The 30 boards really throw out some light.

^^ Yes. You would use the adapter with the white plastic connector in the photo.
You may also need to think about securing the smaller panel within the housing. I have seen suggestion of using a styrofoam peanut or something similar to mount the panel to---I tried that but couldn't make it work. Luckily, the 30LED panels are long enough to wedge into the slot towards the front of the car (in the front domes) and have remained secure.
One other thing worth mentioning is the 15% discount you can get from v-leds.com by using the coupon code:

Yes, those ebay ones are cheaper but I've read numerous stories of unreliability with some of the ebay LEDs. I guess your mileage may vary. I used superbrightLEDs.com and v-leds.com and have been satisfied. My current favorite is Oznium.com---great selection and really fast shipping.

Thanks. Few other questions...
Which are the ones the Vleds 194-2825s that Apb_04TL was talking about. I cant seem to find them on there. I want to check them out for my front domes & license plate for those. I dont want my front domes too bright, might kill my night vision, still have vanity if I need bright. For license, evenly spread is exactly what I want, nothing glaring.
Contrary to those, for reverse lights I looking for really bright, attention grabbing, glaring. Thinking about the 48led panel at vleds. Am I going to find anything brighter there, anything short of those star shaped panels? (which cost more than I want to spend anyhow)

Just got my order from VLED's. Order went out the next day after purchase.
I ordered 2, 30 led boards and 3 pairs of the 4 led wedges as they were on sale. Both used the 194 socket. The 30 led boards came with adapters for the 194 plus many other types which will be cool if I have another app that I want to use these for.
4 led wedge
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81083-1-2.html
30 led boards
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68718-1-2.html
In the doors I installed the 4 led wedges. These are a very nice upgrade to the stock bulb. Slightly more light output without being overdone. The 4 led config throws light directly at the lens and then diffuses from there. I like the look but I think the 5 led 360 pattern bulb would be the way to go if you are looking for better than stock but not blindingly bright. I think it would fill the door lens much better.
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...85865-1-2.html
I then installed the 4 leds in the overhead domes just to see what they would be like. Again like the doors, much better output than stock a more subtle upgrade to the normal bulb.
I then installed a 30 board.......Good lord talk about needing sunglasses at night. Amazing light output from this single board. The front of the car was flooded with light. I could see well into the corners of the floor board and everything that was on the floor. My interior is black so this added light is welcomed. However for my taste I think the 30 board is too much. I couldn't imagine 2 of these up front. So I have staggered my install. I have the 4 led wedge on the drivers dome and a 30 board on the passenger. Same in the rear. This gives me a huge upgrade in light output in the car. I decided to keep the 4 leds on the drivers side to control the amount of light I might need while driving. If I need to use the map. I can go with 4 led or 30.
I'm very happy with this upgrade. So simple and well worth it. LED's rock.
If I had a chance to re order. I would do
4 of these for doors and vanity
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...85865-1-2.html
4 of these for overhead
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/G...38587-1-2.html
1 of these for the trunk
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68718-1-2.html
That would make the ride nice and bright with no modification at all. Totally plug and play.
I used commander15 for the 15% discount.
I hope this helps someone with their order. I went back and forth through several thread before ordering and spent waaaay too much time tryinig to figure out what's right.
Enjoy your new lighting.

I installed my white LEDs from v-leds a little while ago and love them as well. I used:
6 LED boards for the front map lights
(http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68709-1-2.html)
6 LED bulbs from the doors and back rear dome lights
(http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81033-1-2.html)
1 LED bulb for center console and glove compartment.
The 6 LED boards look great. I was concerned that they wouldn't be bright enough after hearing everyone doing the 30 boards, but they are plenty bright without being overpowering. The bulbs in the door look really good as well. Much better than the stock lighting. The only thing I would have changed would be the center console and glove compartment. The 1 LED bulbs don't shine through the plastic piece very well so its not really worth the trouble. I'll try to put up some pictures when I get back from the beach.
And can someone put up some pictures of the doors with red LEDS? I would like to see what that looks like.
