Integrate XM Radio into (Canadian) 2006 TL

Hi Guys;

Being in Canada, I have the Cdn 06 model without XM radio (but with Nav), getting really tired of local radio stations and/or making my own DVD-Audios, so looking to get XM radio.

What's the "cleanest" way to integrate XM radio into this model? By cleanest, I'm looking for something that will play out of the stock speakers and ideally be controlled via the existing Nav audio controls. Also trying to avoid suction cup nonsense and cables running to external devices.

I tried searching this site and other sites for a solution, but have come empty. Can someone point me to an existing thread/link?

I did find this (I have an iPhone), but:

- It sticks out and is far from an "integrated" solution
- My model doesn't have aux-in audio so from my understanding would have to use the FM transmitter, which is far from good quality audio

Ok so upon even further searching (thanks google site search), I found this which seems like it will fit the bill.

Based on my understanding, with the Neo ProLink I could connect my iPhone and an XM radio receiver if I wanted to (not sure if I can have them both plugged in at the same time, but whatever). Has anyone used the Neo ProLink for XM?

cleanest way is to install the XM module from a TL that had XM. IF you're in the GTA. Standard Auto wreckers have a few units for 75-100 bucks.

I didn't go the XM route with my Navi conversion because frankly.... 200 bucks a year is too much for something i can get for free.

If you do go with the above route, you will need the antenna and need to put that on the roof of the car and drill a hole for the little bubble. Just remember that you will have to pay for XM!

Thanks for the responses, I have ordered the Neo Prolink, so it's on its way - that solves my iPod / iPhone integration needs (although will have to revert back from iOs 4 because it's not currently compatible...).

On the XM side, I was thinking of Sirius' XM SkyDock, plugged into the AUX in that I will have once the ProLink is installed. Has anyone used this on their TL? Because of the relatively awkward location of our power adapter and the location of the plug inputs on the SkyDock itself, I'm not sure it would even physically fit.
