instead of screwing it there. Tuck it into the panel.
Run the wire along side the A pillar to the bottom.
Looks kinda weird having the cig lighter there.

Alright guys, thanks everyone for the help! Went down to bestbuy today and picked up a Garmin Nuvi 255W for 120$. Great price the things really cool. Mounted it and started software updates and downloaded information on speed traps and traffic cam's from Trapster. Heres the pics since I know you guys love them!

i dont leave mine even when i leave the car in garage.
I only leave the wire there which is kinda hidden from view due to my registration and inspection sticker.

There ya go "final resting place", love it, I pulled all the silver trim off, ran the wire to the socket and ran it up under the trim, then popped up the air vents and tucked it in there, snapped it all back together and now its flawless

How do you have it fixed to your dash like that? Above the stereo that is.

The garmin's come with a plastic disk with double sided tape on the bottom, you stick the disk down and its perfectly smooth for the suction mount to go on.
