Installing a factory navigation, in a non-navigation TL 2005, possible? (THE NEW GUY)
Installing a factory navigation, in a non-navigation TL 2005, possible? (THE NEW GUT)
Whats up TL gurus, This is the new guy. I'm trying to navigate the way around my new 05 TL. Disappointment that i didnt one with a nav. i was wondering if it is possible to install a 2005 factory navigation unit from a salvaged TL in my non-Nav 05 TL? Or is there any other options, to complete the dash, without making significant modifications, and still maintaining the functions of hand-free option.
Please help
Sincerely the new Guy
p.s thanks to for the tip on the $77 XM renewal. IT WORKS

Thank for the replay. I took a look at the links. WOW! This is definitely a job over my head. Perhaps I will start with painting my brake caliper myself.
If there is anyone that’s in the Chicago area that wouldn’t mind taking on a job like this let me know.

@justnspace....how many hours would you say it took you to install everything? I ask since I am looking to do the same conversion and will be paying for labor since I have NO idea how to do this myself
