Installing Amp, @HU or after factory amp? and LOC's??

Ok so I've been searching and searching...I've read posts that contradict each other big time! As in not which is better, but as in one works and the other doesn't yet we have people here using either option.

So I just wanted to put my poor brain to rest and make a decision. lol

I know there's a few of you here that are great at this shit and have extensive knowledge.

Here are the options I'm looking at.

Also, my amp speaker level inputs. I have an Alpine MRX-f30 (4 channel) amp.

option 1:
Head unit-----RCA hard wired-----Aftermarket amp-----speakers

option 2:
Head unit-----RCA hard wired-----David Navone's 4ch LOC----Aftermarket Amp-----speakers

option 3:
Head unit-----Stock amp-----David Navone's 4ch LOC-----Aftermarket amp-----speakers

option 4:
Head unit-----Stock amp-----RCA hard wired-----David Navone's 4ch LOC-----Aftermarket amp------speakers

option 5:
Head unit-----Stock amp-----RCA hard wired-----Aftermarket amp-----speakers

I plan on leaving the stock amp for the purpose of driving the center speaker only.

Also I want to retain all my fading and level control at the headunit.

I don't wont to run a 3sixty, audiomatrix or cleansweep unit.

What do you guys think?

I don't think your amp accepts a balanced signal, so you'll need a way to change that balanced signal to an unbalanced signal. I'm assuming you're installing new components seeing how you're using a 4-channel..correct??

I haven't thought about this in awhile but I believe you'll need a way to take Balanced -> Unbalanced. You can either do this by using an amp that accepts balanced (not in this case) or pick up a Rockford Fosgate BLD, Audiocontrol Matrix, Processor. I would suggest the Matrix personally. It'll work easily if you decide to add sub(s). Hopefully someone will jump in here in a sec and clarify if I'm incorrect

Pre-amp wires ---> Matrix ---> Amp ---> Speakers

The amp comes with a speaker input connector. Instructions tell me to connect the speaker wires accordingly. there's no mention of balanced or unbalanced at all.

Going this route I'd have the following scenerio.

HU-----alpine's speaker adaptor-----alpine amp-----speakers.

This setup has me not using any RCA's.

Wondering if anybody has used an amp that allows high level speaker input.

The manual has the following...dont know if its helpful for anybody looking to help me out.

Input sensitivity for RCA is .2-4V
Input sensitivity for Speaker Level Input is .5-10V

Also, I already have a sub connected via a LOC at the stock sub location. Powered via an Alpine pdx 1.1000.

I mean you can do it that way. That's what speaker level inputs are for. Ours is around 5v post-amp I believe.

...you're going to have noise though

Just try it. That would literally take 2 seconds to hook up and you'll be able to decide for yourself
