Install Car Kit available for 04 TL w/Navi?

I have Sprint T608 and I have to establish the bluetooth connection every time I get into my car. This is getting quite annoying. Is there a bluetooth device I could buy that could help with this?

If not, would it be possible to buy an install car kit that could work through the radio and then mute the radio/navi when a call comes in?

I hate the voice commands, you have repeat something several times to get it to work right.

Welcome to the forum

SE T608 is supposed to work well with 04/05TL and 05RL, would you like to delete your phone and re-pair it one more time by following this instruction? http://www.handsfreelink.com/pair_sonyT608.html

You definitely could install the car kit if you want, but this totally ruins the tech and interior looks Honda/Acura tries to put into this fine vehicle. However, if this is the way you prefer to do, it's absolutely ok. (Or you could just buy the wireless device or handfree device to equip with your phone, IMO.)

Also, this topic belongs to BT/Navi sub-forum, the thread will be moved to there. Thanks.

install car kit or bluetooth?

I agree the install car kit is not the way to go but I am getting very annoyed with having to connect bluetooth each time and then the damn thing never gets the voice command right. I like how the phone sits in the cradle and you can just press a button to dial instead of saying the same voice commend twenty times.

Well, I am finding out the install car kit presents some other issues like muting the radio, needing a separate speaker, etc.

My bluetooth does work so i don't need to go through the setup process again. However, I like the old style install car kit that turns on the phone automatically wnen you start the car.

With bluetooth, I have to turn on the phone and then hit the button to get the phone to connect to the car each time. Is there a 3rd party accessory that I can use to automatically establish the bluetooth connection? Cable, a cradle, or something?

Are you saying you turn the bluetooth on in the phone then accept the pairing to the HFL? Might this not be fixed by leaving the bluetooth on on the phone all the time. With my SE T616 I get in, turn the car on and I'm set. No need to do anything with the phone. I always have the bluetooth enabled in the phone though.

bluetooth or install car kit?

I just figured out I had to change the setting in my phone from automatic to on which has solved that problem.

Is there a 3rd party product available that would turn on my T608 automatically when I start the car and then turn the phone off when I get out of the car?
