Okay, I did a search and haven't come up with a good answer.

For us as-yet non-owners, what info is displayed on the MID in Nav cars? In other words, some cars will display trip computer info, time and temp, audio info, etc. when you have Nav. I think I've figured out trip computer info isn't shown, but what about other stuff? (Even if you have to switch screens to see it!)

 

Trip computer info is there as it's not shown on the 8" screen.

KM or MILES
Trip A/B
outside temp
KM/litre or MPG
Total trip time
Average Speed

Display brightness control

Homelink settings settings

Hands free link settings

Driver 1/2 custom memory settings

Oil life %

Maintanace reminder messages

That's all I can think of right now.

i believe its the same, whether you have navigation or not.

 

I'm embarrassed. By "MID" I meant the info screen in the center console area. Nissan atually calls THAT the MID (multi-information display).

So what I meant was what info is shown on the 8" screen in the middle of the dash.

It's the navigation/audio screen. It shows the navi, all the menus for the navi and locations, database, etc. It shows radio stations, xm stations, disc numbers, track numbers, etc. It has the sound controls screen as well as all the navi diagnostic shit.

Some cars have a lot of information moved over to the Nav screen when Nav is installed. Didn't know if Acura did that or not ... and I guess the answer is "not".

 

The 2003 Accords with navi had that info in the LCD. I believe the TSX and MDX did/do, too.
