Inconsistent Bulb Brightness Under Nav
Inconsistent Bulb Brightness Under Nav
Hey Guys,
Need your help again. Having an issue with an install that I Had done at a local World Wide Stereo shop.
I had some bulbs switched out for my nav control bulbs. I decided to have all of the buttons in the dash area switched out since I had won an insurance claim dealing with the dash area, and figured I didnt want to deal with any mishaps that may happen by only swtiching some of the bulbs out (ie - other bulbs blowing during install).
Well, turns out they fixed the bulbs that were blown, but now I have an inconsistent bulb brightness on some of my dash bulbs. Four of the six buttons under the nav screen (Map, Info, and so on) are all brighter than the rest of the dash. The other two (directly on either side of the silver nav select button) are extremly week, and not bright at all. The bulbs were swapped out yet again for this section, so I know the bulbs are not the issue.
What could be causing this? Could the install person have damaged some wiring/filament in the buttons themselves? Could it be a fuse issue?
Any imput at all would be helpful! Sorry there arent pictures, I am currently at work!

Yes, all of the bulbs for the center console/dash acrea were replaced.
The bulbs for the six buttons that are giving the issue of inconsistent brightness were swapped out a second time. This means that the bulbs themselves are not the issue. Originally it was thought that the wrong bulbs were placed in those 6 buttons under the nav screen, but since they were swapped out for a second time, very carefully as well, then this cant be the case...
Acually, to be percise, there are only 4 bulbs that light the six buttons under the nav screen. So really, its just the four bulbs that were swapped out for a second time. To make things less confusing I am just refering to them as the six bulbs for the six buttons
