Incoming Call Ringtone

First of all a disclaimer: My manual is out in my car. I am inside here at work. My computer is here with me. Acurazine is a bookmark on my computer. Hence it is easier to ask a question here than it is to take the elevator outside and get the manual from my car.

There - a semi-flameproof disclaimer.

Now for my question: Is it possible to change the HFL's incoming ring tone? (Or at least boost it's volume?) I was listening to the XM comedy channel on the way to work and received a call. However since there was some banging around on the skit, I didn't recognize the phone as something outside the show until after they hung up.

Thanks.

(BTW - it's OK to flame me as long as you promise to answer my question at the same time. )

What you can do is make the car say "You have an incoming call" instead of ringing. That's the way I have it set up. You can configure it in the HFL menu.

It did, but I was mid conversation with my wife and wasn't really paying full attention to the skit which was on mostly as background noise. The ringing of the phone was just sort of blended into the background as well.

But if I could get the car to speak up, that would stand out a lot more...

Thats great, I'd definatly set it up to do that. Ringing pisses me off. It would be nice if the Navi equipped TLs had a built in manual where you could do searches for different topics.

No. There is no way you can have both on at the same time.

Would be nice if you could mute the radio yourself by pressing a button or with a voice command. Is this possible?

There is no mute button, but there is an "off" button (push in big dial). You can mute cd's by pressing the number of the cd that is playing. Hope this helps.

I realize there is an off button. Was just hoping for a button that would turn the volume almost all the way down, and when through turn it back to where it was. A lot of aftermarket decks have this feature. Didn't know about pausing the CD by pressing the disc # button, though. Thanks!
