Importing Phone Book

Cannot import phone book from Treo650 to 07 Nav. BUMMER!!

Has anyone tried loading their sim card into a compatible phone, transferring the data then going back to the not so compatible phone.

Will it work?

Too bad the treo650 being such a popular phone has issues. Damn Palm!!

Thumbs up

Can't with PPC-6700 either.

But....

There might be hope down the road. I am using an app for my phone from JetWare Mobile to display the signal strength and battery on the MID. I asked them about adding the phonebook import functionality and here is their response:

------------------

Our software supports phonebook transfer using GSM “AT” commands over the Bluetooth hands-free profile connection. However, some devices use the more capable Synchronization profile for phonebook transfers. We hope to add Synchronization profile support in a release later this year.

Too bad Jetware doesn't have a palm version.
Have you heard of any similar software for the Palm OS?
