Speaking of depth, here's a comparison I did, mostly of center channels I've run.

Massive Audio SK-6 6.5" on the left, Infinity 3.5", Alpine Type S 5.25", and on the right, ID CTX65.

Yeah I've always wondered how the hell people fit those. Aaron (bikinpunk) from DIYMA has those right? I want to say he's got them in the kicks though with mid/tweet in the a-pillar. That setup he has is killer for something "somewhat" budget. I have a feeling that I might be picking up that Scan D3004 tweeter soon.

Yep, in the kicks in an AP enclosure vented to the outside world. They're awesome, tons of linear excursion, in fact, double what most high end 6.5s have. For me it doesn't matter because my 15s sound great covering 80hz+ but for those that like to run a low highpass they would be great. Off topic but I finally bottomed one of my 650s. 50hz lowpass, bass boosted, and everything the HD600/4 could throw at it. I was turning the volume up slowly and right around 29 it bottomed (which is louder than I EVER listen to it). That was the worst sound I've ever heard. I've bottomed speakers before, especially my Infinities but the Dyns are the loudest, worst sounding ever when they bottom. Maybe it's the huge voice coil of the fact that I knew I just bottomed a $1,000 speaker. Back up to 80hz it went lol.

That's not the best way to do it. There are several active threads on this subject, showing different options right now.

Did you have to cut metal on your door?? You have the im ctx65cs right?? Try trimming down the plastic on your door panel where the sp eaker cover is.

Trim/Sand down the plastic on the door panel that sticks out where the speaker goes. It's the circle that sticks off the panel...just trim it all the way down so it's flush with the panel. I'd pick up a Dremel to make quick work of it.

Not sure why everyone is so afraid of cutting the door metal. It's extremely thin and would be cut VERY easily with a Dremel.
