Unhappy I'm lookn' to CUSTOMIZE!!!!!

I just got an 05 TL, fairly brand new considering it has only 26000 miles ( 4 year old car), and I love it, Its ANTHRECITE metallic (a dark metal grey) with black leather. The interior is in perfect condition aswell as the exterior, BUT I NEED A NAV. I just need to know where to find a really good DVD-NAV system (nothing over 2G's), I was also wondering if anyone new a good brand of LED light kits. I want to put some LED lighting on the grill and also the engine. Has anyone tryed a butterfly kit (lambo kit, vertical kit, etc.) on a TL???? I want to know what it looks like before I decide to do it. I also want to my the rear doors suicide. Let me know......1

looks like you need to prioritize your mods playa...

Do one thing at a time... and execute them well...

You're going to get a lot of sh!t from people here for the whole butterfly/suicide door ideas... most of it is played out

There's a reason why the new lambo's have regular doors now

As Rodney said, you need to prioritize what you wanna do, and how you wanna do it. Don't wanna be throwing shit together

for the navi, you can probably get the OEM one for around 2K from ebay from hondaacuratech. Then installation is going to be a few hours (about 10-12 if you have all the parts) For the lambo doors, I doubt anyone makes a kit for the 3G, but it's going to look stupid as hell on it. As far as the suicide doors, good luck with it, its going to be a job to put them in without messing with the body, A LOT.

^ there are tons of threads for leds...
- i wouldnt put any on the engine though buddy
- suicide doors? uglyyy, probably have to be custom.

if i were you i would get tints, wheels, leds, cai, pulleys, TB spacer, RSB, slottled/ drilled rotors, you can always customize the tails and headlights.. but honestly suicide doors would look like shit on the TL. its so pretty as is!! regardless of my comments good luck!! and welcome

lambo doors on a 3g tl.... its not a civic my man, suicide doors, i think youll mess up the structure of the car because theres no where to put the hinges on the side where the latch is at to close the door.

hoestly trsh those ideas go with LEDs and Nav and like everyone else said do one thing at a time.

Lambo doors- ugly- leave it to the ricers- you have a nice car don't mess it up

LED- Search for Kennedy's thread on this- he has pretty much all the types of leds you need and where to get them
-don't put them in your engine bay

ebay... hondaacuratech sells kits on there for around 2k. You can buy everything from the dealer, but expect to pay over 5K.

ALRIGHT NO LAMBO DOORS.... good advice,... I see the enevitable failure of having that on the TL...... So most people saying LEDs and Nav..... I think the LEDs are going to be easy.... But the real challenge is the NAV.... I have a non-nav TL.... SO where and how do I install one.... and I would like to buy a new one... not used...

V-leds is where you can get some led replacements for all your interior lighting.

You have 2 choices to put nav on your tl.
1. go with factory oem nav system (there is lots of wiring work involved but possible - don't believe what dealer said)

2. Carputer which will give you more function than what factory nav does.

Either way you need fabrication and some basic electrical skill.

here is the picture of carputer installed on my tl.

OK.... so it can be done.....f***ing dealers.... so I noticed that no matter what... you have to have that display for the A/C control.... but I noticed on TL's that origanilly come with NAV... that their A/C panel is located on the screen that also display's time.... above the NAV panel.... do you think it is possible to wire the A/C controls to that same panel?.... I would have to buy the panel.... but hopefully possible.

If you go with oem nav setup will be same as what factory came out with.
But, if you go with carputer you will have to move original HVAC display somewhere (I moved to storage bin under radio- see photo) then you could have all the control display.
