If possible Navi to DVD
Blunt answer: no - not possible. First, the screen is a 256-color display and for DVD playback you'd need at least 65k if not 16M. Second, the unit has no DVD decoder in it and even if a genius would squeeze in a software decoder, the SH4 processor couldn't handle it.
Aim lower instead; try asking for MP3 playback capability, CD-text, a better audio display, etc.

Hi akunc. Welcome to Acurazine.Yes, please do a search. The Navi screen can be used as the display for DVD playback and more. Just need to browse or search the Audio, Navi, Bluetooth subforum.
I'll help you out with some threads:

Not bad for not knowing what you are talkin about....hundreds of people have added an external dvd player with a nav to dvd conversion module. It is possible because I have the ability to watch movies on my nav screen.
