If I wanted to spend $500

on my audio system...'07 TL-S....what would you guys suggest?

Two caveats...one..I have to keep the stock HU and keep the car intact for the most part (lease), and, two...I have an Infinty Basslink that I might/might not use.

Would it be a simple thing to just buy a new amp and some new speakers?

I haven't the first clue about car audio, so please try to keep the flames to a minimum. Thanks!

From what I have read, the Basslink is popular. I would check into some Dynamat for the 4 doors......and possible speaker replacement while you were at it.
I vote for Dynamat (all 4 doors) + Basslink = $500 or so.

Dynamating a Lease car, I dont know about that.... If you got the basslink go ahead and use that. Especially with a $500 budget, you kinda limited, cant go with JL12W6V2 and a JL500/1 which I recommend. But just use the basslink, get an LOC, and wiring. Install and you done, less than $100!!!!
