I'm looking for ideas as to where everyone has installed an aftermarket amp. I will be adding a JL 500/1 to run a 12W6V2 in the near future. My top choice is to take out the factory sub and fabricate an amp mount under the rear deck. This should then make it relatively easy to pull down the carpet and make adjustments or take out as necessary.

Let me know if anyone has tried this and/or if you have other ideas.

There's really nowhere clean...
I removed the foam block in the spare tire well and hid it in there.

 

Same here the 500/1 fits in the MT spare perfectly

 

My 4 channel JL Audio fit under the driver's seat after trimming an air duct.
