iDatalink for 05 Acura TL

whats the diffrence between solo,multi,blade idatalink?????which one am I suppose to get, I bought viper 5900 alarm?http://www.idatalink.com/searchresul...,AL&f=PL,WD,PG

should I go with, I was thinking Solo ADS-DLSL CA2?????

Once I get it do I have to update firmware or does it come updated already I have a 2005 Acura TL ??If you go to the actual website their pretty expensive any other website that might be cheaper.

what sux is that you're goin to have to wire-2-wire that alarm to the CAN piece...where as if you purchase the audiovox brands...ie...code alarm...prestige...etc...they have a data-2-data...simple 4 pin connector...it's the shit...as for firmware...the packaging tells you what firmware is already pre-loaded...you yourself can upgrade the firmware using your PC and their flashloader...or I'd go to your local Audiovox dealer...purchase the FLCAN piece...which is made by iDatalink...have the installers there flash it with the new firmware...takes approx 3 minutes...and be on your way...btw the Avox units are less expensive than the iDatalink counterparts...

you have a TL...don't cheap out! do it and do it right!

Dude, why are you being such a punk!

What I said is exactly correct: if you're using a blade with blade compatible it's plug and play. I didn't say anything about his set up, so chill.
