i have (2) 15'' Mmats p3 subs in a 4.5 cube box it takes up my entire trunk and i had to cut two faces of it off to make it fit. but im recently finding out what an infinite baffle is. i have my subs facing forward and walled off from the back.

Now the question is.
What is an infinite Baffle? and if i were to do this with my two 15s would it be louder then having them in a ported box? i have no clue how an IB could be loud but apparently it is.
Can someone help or give knowledge please and thank you

 

It's where you seal the front wave of the sub from the back wave and your trunk effectively becomes the box. It won't be as loud as a ported setup, but it will get as loud as a sealed enclosure and require about half the power. Also, you'll be able to save almost all of your trunk space.
