I would have been home sooner but ...

the navigation wanted to take me on a neverending loop around the block.

I am driving home through unfamiliar parts of Orlando. The navigation tells me to take the next right, so I do. Then it tells me again to take the next right. Umm okay? Its a triangular block so now I'm back to the first road I turned right off.

I zoom in on the navigation thinking maybe I wasn't supposed to make the first right at that intersection, possibly the next road. But no I was right it is the first right, and the blue line is continueing past where I made the second turn.

So I continue on my way and go past the second spot where I turned and the navigation tells me to turn again. I ignore it and it recalculates my route.

Beware of the neverending loop and don't let it suck you in.

BTW anyone else experience similar glitches like telling you to turn the wrong way...

this is why Acura tells you to use the navigation as a guide, but not as a concrete routing tool

I recently took mine on a road trip to another state. I had no idea how to get to my destination. I left my drive way and typed in the name of the location I wanted to get to. I drove most of the way there that night. Got a room and got in car next morning and car recalculated route and took me right to the door step of desired addy.
I have nothing but praise for the ease of use, easy to understand graphics and clear precise voice commands it used.
Hopefully that will continue.

I've had one glitch so far. I was cruising through Ft Wayne, IN around supper time so I decided to use the"Find Nearest Restaurant" feature. I started to scroll through the restaraunts and found out that there was a Dog 'n Suds nearby. So I set that as my destination and proceeded on. Well, I got to the "location" of the Dog 'n Suds, and there were two problems:
1) there was no Dog n' Suds
2) the Navi thought the address was on the on-ramp, so I drove around in circles for 10 minutes before I realized that there was no Dog n' Suds!

That's okay though, because it subsequently steered me to the nearest Subway.
