I-Simple PXAMG unit installed but no sound, it just says aux1..HELP!!
I installed the Peripheral I-simple plug and play unit today and bought the 5v cable needed for the I-touch. All went well with the install and no issues on where to mount it. I updated the firmware in the unit and in my itouch. I turn it on and the screen says Aux-1. I try to use the tune dial or the seek buttons and nothing. I hit XM and it says XM2 but still stays on Aux1. What is the deal?
I put a call into the company but they are closed as expected. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue and knew what my problem was.
I have an 05 TL with the navigation.

Thanks but I put the dice unit in my wifes Lexus and when we went to leave early in the morning for a trip, nothing on the nav screen or radio worked. I took it to the dealer and they found the dice unit was the problem. 100 bucks later I was out the door. I returned it to the dice guys and they sent it back and it worked for about a month and then quit. I gave up with that unit. Dice sucked!!! It cost me 100 doolars and two hours on my trip.
Update on mine. I was able to get the unit to see the ipod now. I need to turn the dial as soon as I hit the xm button to change between the two. I see the ipod and song I am playing. All the controls work but still no sound!!! I guess there is something up with the unit. I unplugged the xm module in the car and no change. Oh well!

I fixed the problem. I gave the company a call and he asked me if I hooked up the harness to the XM module in the trunk and I did because all my Aux inputs were there. He said it needed to be hooked up to the back of the radio. So my dumb ass hooked it up and all is well. This is sick! The best money can buy. The Dice unit doesn't even come close!!!

Hey Blokhead, how are you? I haven't seen you around here in a while. Yeah, my mistake on the install. I saw a thread on here that a guy had a Type-S with a different harness and he plugged it into the XM module. That was my mistake! Oh well, lesson learned. Your gonna love this thing, so easy and the sound is really clear! BTW, you need to come up on the next meet.
