Help guys, my cars with my dad right now and he just called me saying that the navi works and all, but the radar stays at one specific point and does not move with the car so i guess its stuck? this morning he removed the dvd from the drive and inserted it back in the afternoon, all done without me being there so i dont know what is going on, i get the car back in about 2 hours.... he says all other functions are working properly. I need a quick solution for this... thanks in advance

 

Have him try pushing the compass icon up in the upper left hand corner. This switches the view between the car always pointing north and the car pointing in the direction your driving. Worth a shot.

 

The map indicator will stay on one point when someone manually moves the Navi joystick, so hopefully your problem has cleared.
Pushing the "map" button on the left of the bottom row of Navi buttons will center the map back to the car location.

 

the issue is probably with the zoom function. Have him zoom to 1/20 and it should be fine.

 

you were right, i checked it out it was just zoomed out to a point where movement from the car would not be tracked on the screen at all. All i had to do was zoom in
