There are plenty of other tools listed on this board. Depending on the price of MovieFactory 6 you may want to look at Cirlinca's product or my free tools. Up until now none of Ulead's tools have done true DVD-Audio. They'd previously done Audio on DVD-Video. Cirlinca's product may still be better if you are ever going to want to do any 6 channel burning. Not sure if MovieFactory does that.

No. They sound equivalent to whatever you used for the source music files.

Unlikely. It's probably in your head. If you used any kind of sound processing on the files then "better" is a matter of taste.
