HVAC center display

I was looking into doing the Ipad Mini install on my 04 tl and was wondering if there was a way to install the hvac display part from a car that had navi ?

Is is possible to use a 07 tl navi upper climate control display on a 2004?

I don't believe so. IIRC when I did mine (07) it was not a backwards compatible part. At least not to a non-nav car.
