I have tried and failed to get my HTC EVO to pair with my 04 TL. I have had three other phones that paired without a problem, including an older HTC (that ran on Windows Mobile). I get as far as the TL discovering the phone, the phone displaying "Paired But Not Connected", and then the TL BT just hangs with my four digit code on the screen. This actually stays like this for hours even after the car has been turned off and cannot be exited.

Has anyone gotten the HTC EVO to pair with an 04 TL? If so, did you do anything different to get it to work? Thanks for the help.

 

Try posting in the TL forum... You should be able to get more help there.

For the record I was able to get my 05 RL to pair with the Evo with no problems. Everything works perfectly with it.

 

My EVO paired also with no problems.
