How to turn off the Nav screen..

07 TL-S. If I hit the navigation button, it will always stay lit and show the nav or audio screen until I restart the car. If I don't use the audio button for 30 seconds the screen will go black. How do I make the navigation screen go black after I'm done using it?

you can't

Don't press the okay button on the navigation nag screen. If you need to change something on the screen audio-wise, you can press audio and it will pop up on the screen and then turn back off. It's the Navi more than anything else.

you can turn your screen off manually whenever you want. i forget what button exactly but i think push setup button and then there is a "display" setting...push "off"

i turned it off fairly often if i had a long night drive and didn't need the screen

Yeah I found a solution for the tech team, they're willing to change it provided there is enough 'demand'

SO GO DEMAND IT!

if you too lazy to click the link then follow these step.

press setup ----> look for screen setup where it say "auto, day, night, and off. Press "off" on the Navi to turn the screen off.

In order for Navi screen goes into night mode automatically your cluster brightest setting must be highest NOT "Max" where the cluster light will dim when your headlight is on. If your brightness setting on "Max" like me then you will have to manually put it in night mode and manually switching it back to day mode.

Dam thoiboi is messing up here.....
