How to remove radio in 3rd gen TL

Hi
I want to remove the radio to plug the cable to connect my iPod and I wonder if it is hard to do it by myself because I'm not familiar with that kind of stuff.
Any suggestions how to do it?
Thanks in advance

I have 05 Tl without navigation

Go to the Main forum for the 3rd Gen TLs, click on the stickied link titled GARAGE

All the HOW-TOs are posted in there, along with a bevy of other awesome info.

I asked the same question a couple of days ago.
How do you take out radio?
I think when you have just become a new member (like me) you have to wait 15 days to gain access to certain things.

the entire middle part of the console has to come out, including the air duct vents on top of navigation. it's honestly, a bitch...for lack thereof a better term.

Thanks for your help
After I saw the video it looks crazy that you have to remove so many things to get the radio out!!!
Did anybody tried that and how long did it take to take it out?

It's been done by many. First time is slow but after that, you can do it in your sleep.

Not nearly as daunting as it looks once you've done it the first time.

I can have the radio out in under 10 minutes now with a phillips head and a thin profile standard.
