Just bought my wife and I a 2008tl. We are in love it's truly an amazing vehicle.

One thing I cant figure out thats driving me crazy,

How do you turn off the gps screen if you activate it? I know if you dont push ok when you turn the car on it does not turn on, but how do you turn it off after you turn it on?

At night time I want to turn the screen off sometimes.

With Voice Command:
1) Push voice command button (not the HFL switch!)
2) say "setup"
3) Push voice command button again
4) Say "Display off"

Using buttons below Navi screen:
1) Push "setup" button
2) Touch "Screen Display: 'off'" on the Navi screen

Ok I will head home and check that on lunch break. But I'm almost 100% positive that there is no Screen Display off option under setup.

I was too lazy to go all the bells and whistles so for a long time, I used to just turn the engine off and on while driving. Can't do that with the 4g, pushing the button while rolling does not shut the engine off.
