I am trying to store pauses in numbers like voicemail so I can put in my password. When I tell the system pause it doesn't pause when the call is made. Is there a way to make this work?

No one's been able to program pauses with the HFL. What I did was program the pauses and password for my VM in my phone. I dial into my VM from the phone then just transfer to the HFL. It works but to be hones it's not the best way to listen to your messages so most times I just wait untill I'm out of the car to listen to them.

 

When you dial through the phone, if you enter in commas it will enter a pause. On some phones, holding down the * key will enter a 'p' ... that is p for pause.

 

This isn't the most secure method, but I have my password stored in the HFL phonebook. So when I call my voicemail, I say "send password", it flashes it on the MID screen, and I say "send", then the system makins the beeping sounds and I get in.

 

I have done the same as AdamNJ and it works fine. I set up one number in phone book that calls the voice mail number, and another number in phone book to "send password".
