How to connect my phone to 2008 TL audio system?
I recently bought 2008 TL Base/ No Nav. There is AUX port but I need to control the audio through my phone. I paired my phone via bluetooth but looks like it is only helpful for the calls.
Can you please suggest if there is options available to connect my phone to audio system so I can control via the dashboard?

You'll need an audio interface device such as an iSimple, or DICE or USASpec.

Thanks for the reply.
I ordered iSimple ISHD651 but installation videos in internet look so hard to install myself. I am afraid I may break something. Can you please suggest ways to get this installed?

It's really simple.
You remove the metal side trims along the radio (which are held in by clips) and then remove the storage compartment under the radio which are held by 4 screws and clips along the side. To remove the storage compartments you'll need to move the armrest back a few cm (held in by two screws in the storage compartment) and disconnect any connectors like the heated seat connectors and cigarette lighter connector. You'll need to put the car in Neutral for the compartment to come out.
Then you'll be able to reach your hand behind the radio and unplug the existing XM connector and plug in the iSimple connector. Then you plug the XM connector you took out into the iSimple split connector.

or you can go for the cheap ($15) solution via blackbery gateway, basically a bluetooh receiver and connect to your aux port. However you will have to control through the phone tho.

Thank you for the wonderful suggestion.
I see this GoGroove FlexSmart X3 has the control options to change track etc over the BlackBerry Gateway
