I posted a note for my brother-in-law back in October and thanks to the forum, he now knows he can get his 2005 Acura TL navigation drive/system fixed for about $160.

I am headed back next month to help him, but before I do that, does anyone have any diagrams of how to access/remove the navigation unit?

Just remove the liner on the right side of the trunk. It's really obvious once you see everything. 4 kinda like T bolts hold it down, several connectors to unplug and 4 bolts to remove it from the mount.

Make sure you eject the dvd before removing.
