Hooking Sirius Satillite radio up

I am wondeing what is the cleanest way to hook up a Sirius sattilite radio. Now that Sirius and XM mearged can I have Sirius content hooked up in the XM radio in my TL. If I cant is there a way i can hook up my plug and play setup into the factory radio without using a tape adapter, and is it possible to utilize the sattelite antenna that is already wired into the car.

This has been answered a few times here on the forum if you search under "sirius".

It depends on if you have the technology package or not. If not, you can do this right away, no problem. You can find the parts you need at tss-radio.com or on eBay. You'll need two devices to make this work, a Sirius tuner and a module to input the display information to the head unit so that it will display the channel #, track info, ect...

If you have the tech package like me, you'll need to wait for a special Peripheral harness to be released this spring (PGHHD2). There is a user here with the tech. package who's hooked the units directly into the head unit (instead of in the trunk in place of the XM "brain" where it is supposed to be done) and says it works fine. I think I'll just wait for the cable to be released.

Also, you have the choice of using the stock XM antenna with a chance of reduced reception and a very expensive adapter (~$90) OR having two satellite radio antennas on the roof of your car. I still haven't decided what I'm gonna do.
