High pitched feedback from rear speaker

Hey guys,

I want to start by saying that ,yes, I've searched the forum before posting this.

My passenger-side rear speaker is putting out a high-pitched noise.

What we know:
1. It is NOT tied to the engine noise, like many other posts that I've seen, because it occurs whether on not the engine is on.
2. It occurs in all modes (am/fm, cd, xm, etc).
3. It has nothing to do with whether it's cold outside.
4. It does not happen when volume is at 0.
5. It does happen when the volume is at 1 or greater.
6. It makes the same sound, at the same volume, regardless of the audio volume level (above 0). As such, it's obviously more noticeable at low volume, as high-volume audio tends to drown it out.

Any ideas? I can post a video if necessary. I am 90% useless when it comes to car audio. I DO, however, own a multi-meter. Just really hoping that I don't have to tear up the entire back of my TL to figure this out.

Thanks,
J
