HFL w/ Motorola V325i & Verizon
I purchased a Motorola V325i from Verizon so I'd have a bluetooth phone to use with HFL on my new '07 TL-S.
The phone linked easily using the Acura pairing instructions and the phone manual. You have to enable BT on the phone first, but pairing was a snap.
The phone works well to place and receive calls. I just leave the phone in a pocket and the car detects it fine, displaying a little phone icon in the display at the top of the center stack. Audio quality is at least as good, if not better, than using the phone by itself.
The signal strength bars, battery strength and roaming indicators all show up in the MID.
Incoming and outgoing calls display the phone number in the MID.
But:
No phonebook or contact export to the car.
The process for entering a number in the car's phone book is a pain.
You cannot use linked numbers or pauses to include extensions when using HFL, although the phone allows extensions.
There is no way to use the HFL to access the phones voice dial features, which work great on the phone without HFL.
All in all, it works ok, but HFL doesn't really allow you to take advantage of the phones contacts or voice dial capabilities, which are excellent.
