anyone know if the 07/08 base model hfl module is compatible with the 07/08 type s hfl module???
part numbers are different but is it just because of the interior trim piece? thanks

I feel like I just read this very same question very recently on this forum, and the answer was, "they're the same".

I searched and all I found is how crappy the hfl units were, but anyways I had a type s module from when I did my navi swap and decided to try it last nite.
the mid doesn't say "booting up" anymore but its asking for a code now, I have to reset it but it looks like it works, both units looked identical when I was replacing it.
