HFL Lockup during pairing

HFL Lockup during pairing
-I've tried with 3 different kinds of phones to link the phone to my 2004 TL.
-Blackberry 7100
-Samsung Phone
-Motorola Risr
I get as far into the voice promts when it asks for the pairing code, which I use 1234. Then I turn on bluetooth on the phones, all of them find the HFL fine, but Nothing else happens with the car. It seems to just lock up at pairing. All it says on the Car display is pair (1234), and doesn't go away, untill I pull the #6 fuse in the car to reset everything.
-my question is when you are pairing to your car, does the voice promt find the phone right away and complete the pairing process?
-Anyone expierience any issue like this?
-Do I need to get a new HFL module?

Well, in my experience(I use an 8100 Blackberry) I have to search using HFL and the phone at the same time. It will ask for a code, 1111, then my phone will pick up the HFL and it'll ask for a code. I enter 1111 and it just asks me for a name.
Try that, it does the same with my Samsung Katalyst.
Good luck.
Oh, start by saying
You:"Phone Setup"
HFL:"Setup options are...."
You:"Pair"
HFL:"Searching for...."
This is when you try to connect using your phone.(Search for devices).

I also had a 2004 TL that had the same problem and the only thing to correct it was to pull out the fuse. My car still had warranty at the time and the dealership replaced the HFL unit. After that never had a problem hopefully you're still covered.
