I had no problem pairing my iPhone 4 with HFL on my 2004 TL but I get no caller ID when someone calls. Anyone manage to get the caller ID working?

 

i have an 07 TLS but it only shows the incoming number on the screen..so i need to pick my phone up and see whos calling (doesnt show names)

 

Same here, I'm thinking if the number's programmed into the car's phonebook it should show the name? I just recently got my phone paired and haven't confirmed this yet but I imagine it would.

 

I don't get anything. All I get is "Incoming Call". 'Am I doing something wrong?

 

No-- it's the cell transmitter/repeater: some are set up to display the number, others are not.
You will thus get a number in your MID in some areas and not in others. Regardless, you won't receive a number if someone with a "private" number calls.

 

the radio should say incoming call and then the MID will show the number. At least thats how it is on my 06 with an iphone 4

 

Mine (Verizon iPhone, 2004 TL) always shows the number if it's available, although of course not all callers' numbers are always visible. Names never show up because the MID phonebook doesn't support entering text.

 

just tried pairing a blackberry bold and it showed the caller ID! I guess it's the iPhone's fault and not the HFL!!!
