Driving to work this morning my HFL froze up during a call - I was sending spoken digits to retrieve voice mail and the system just froze. The MID shows the digits, and the center stack display says 'HF LINK.'

- Cycling BT on the phone (Cing Razr) doesn't clear it
- Cycling Power on the phone doesn't clear it
- Turning the car off and restarting doesn't clear it
- Radio doesn't work, as expected when BT is active
- HFL buttons on the steering wheel do nothing
- Voice input buttons (behind the HFL buttons) beep three times when pressed

Any ideas? Anyone else see this on an 06? I found nothing similar in search.

There are a couple of threads about HFL freesing while "booting up," and I experienced that. I just let the car go through an ignition on-off cycle- I walked to a store to buy something and problem had cleared when I returned and started the car.
Otherwise, if the system doesn't clear after a shut-down cycle, the dealer will likely replace the HFL.
