HFL Calling

Hi...I have a 2005 TL 6 speed MT with Navi....There are times when the HFL just pisses me of when it can't understand a number.https://acurazine.com/forums/newthre...newthread&f=2#
Annoyed..it would be much easier if I can dial it on the phone....is there a way I can initiate the call via the phone and then "transfer" it to the HFL so I can talk hands free?

Also, let's say I call a voicemail system..how can I get the HFL to dial an extension when I'm in the middle of an active call ?

Thanks

What phone are you using? I have a XV6700 (Verizon) and when the number isn't in my phone book (HFL), I dial it on my phone and then hang up. I then say "redial", and it dials the last number. To transfer it, I think you say "transfer call". I did it a couple of times before, and it worked. But I tried to do it once and no go. You have to get the command right for it to work. It probably says it in the book. But try transfer call or transfer phone or transfer phone call. Put numbers you dial usually in your HFL phone book. The book tells you how. To get started though, press the dial button and then just say "store phone number or store number". You really should read the manual though for the HFL and other voice commands.

Yes, its possible: Connect your phone to the HFL, dial the number off the phone. After you have connected, tell the other party to hold, use the voice command "transfer" on the HFL and that should do it!
