HFL buzzing

I just bought the new Motorola Razr V3I which is the version just released with Itunes from Cingular. Paired perfectly and overall it works great but there is a low level buzzing when dialing out on the call and the buzz remains while the call is in progress. When driving and someone is talking it isn't disruptive to the conversation but it's still there. When you continue the call after shutting off the engine the buzz goes away. It reminds me a little alternator interference I had once with an after market stereo install (previous vehicle). Has anyone experienced this with any phones and their HFL and what do you suggest.

Where do you physically place the phone when you are using the HFL? Try moving the phone to the armrest compartment or somewhere further from the HFL unit.
My Motorola V551 generates a slight buzz when I put it in the bottom compartment with the power plug in front of the shifter. However, the phone does not generate any interference/ buzz and the HFL operates perfectly when I put the phone in the cupholders or in the armest compartment.

Thanks for the info and yes this is where I usually keep the phone. It's a perfect physical spot for the phone but maybe not so perfect for performance. I'll try your suggestion.
