HFL Broken?! Please Help :(

I just got a '04 TL and I love everything about the car. Unfortunately as I was trying out the HFL feature, I hit the talk button and nothing happened. I don't have the navi system but my stereo changed to "PHONE" mode yet I didn't hear any beeps mentioned in the menu. Then as I tried to go back to the radio by hitting the back button, nothing as well - the system just sat there in the "Phone" mode until I shut the engine off and restarted.

Is my HFL system broken? If so, does anyone know around how much it costs to replace?

Thanks in advance to all you gurus out there!

your bluetooth module is bad. I think its around 600 to replace. I would check to see if you might be able to get an extended warranty on it.

the car just passed warranty - any chance the dealer might help me out? I've read quite a few instances here on the forums where Acura dealer will help out of warranty owners.

Thanks!

Try, the HFL unit is pretty problematic and they should be able to help out a bit.

Cool thanks man! I'm 3 months over the 4 year mark but still 6000 miles shy and my VIN is within the ones specified in that TSB so I'll talk to the dealer this weekend and see what they say.

Thanks again!
