I have a usaspec ipod that im about to install. Do you guys with nice systems notice a loss of sound quality playing the ipod versus playing cds? Ive had this thing ( along with all of my other stereo components) for a while and am about to install everything now. I just got an ipod after being the only person in the world not to get one it seems like. Its pretty cool.

Also im installing what i think is a really high end system and am wondering if anyone has put speakers in the back doors? Im debating right now what to do for my subs. Its definitely going to be free air and am leaning towards 3 8s in the rear deck and letting them breathe through the three speaker holes there. It seems no one on these forums likes free air setups ive noticed. They can sound just as good if done properly and dont take up space.

im not sure about the ipod deal but the system
all i have in my TL is a boston Acoustic 11 inch and it hits just fine
yes 11 inch haha
but some people put an aftermarket sub in place of the sub that is already there
hits just fine, hide an amp under the driver seat

 

thanks for the reply. im actually going to put my 3 amps in the trunk hidden behind the side panels. going for stealth.
