HELP - Radio Doesn't Work at All

anyone know what the problem can be here? i just got my car out of the shop but the stereo doesnt work. i replaced a fuse under the dash which looked a little burnt out. thinking that the fuse was the problem i started up the car to see if the radio would turn on... and still nothing. i checked the fuses under the hood and everything was fine. made sure my battery was properly tightened cause i had read some posts here about it might being a battery issue. i also read a post where someone's stereo didnt run on either but had a red light flashing... the background lights up but i can not power up the radio. the anti-theft light doesnt even flash nor will my light flash if i press load... the other guy's did. anyone know what the problem might be? ive removed the console from the dash and its clear to work with so if anyone has any advice please help me out. im also planning on putting in a sound system, thats why ive removed the console... thanks in advance....

When I first got the car yes, and it worked... But after it had been in shop no, it just stopped working; however, they did tell me that I needed the code for the radio, so maybe they tried putting in the code I'm guessing...

Just unplug the battery for 10-15 minutes and try re-entering the radio codes...should work

I already tried that. And nothing... Anyone know if the stereo locks itself after a certain amount tries or something along those lines? Or will the best option be to go to acura?

Yes it locks up after 4-5 tries....that's why you have to disconnect the battery for 10-15 and try again. I know this might sound crazy but...you sure your putting in the correct code? Call Acura (have your VIN handy) and they'll give you your code. If it's the same and still doesn't work...

Any firearm should get the point across to the shop

Are you seeing "COdE" on the display?

If not, pull fuse #7 for one minute and then turn the radio back on.

Good deal! Glad you're back in business. You can go to myacura.com and register and then you can store your radio code online if you want.

Registering your code in www.myacura.com ensures you'll never loose it. I'd keep it there for safe keeping.
