Help Needed: EKIY T7 Android on AC Dash climate display
Hello,
I'm thinking of mounting the EKIY T7 Android Head Unit on the AC dash climate display bezel for the Acura 3G TL. It uses the same USIC7862 processor as the Xeowyn Android Head Unit.
My AC climate display isn't functional and even if I was to repair it, would probably be impossible to keep functional long-term. The slot also provides access to the headunit audio, CANBUS and power wiring. I assume I only need to extend the wiring up.
However, I'm not sure of mounting points and also wondering if there's any bezels or custom shroud for the system. I'm also unsure about integration, although I assume it should be relatively easier.
I live in West Africa so the OEM navigation does not work for me.
I'd appreciate any help
I want to insert the wiring and mounting points through where the climate display screen currently is. (Photo not mine).
I'm thinking of removing the LCD panel (the white piece) and routing the wiring through to where the current Stock head unit is. (Photo not mine).
