HELP! Need GPS manufacturer info please

Does anyone know the manufacturer of our GPS receiver? I'd prefer not having to rip out the rear deck to take a look. Can someone with the electrical troubleshooting guide see if it mentions anything about this?

I'm trying to tap into the gps data signal for a carpc installation.

Thanks,

Mike

Pretty sure it's an Alpine unit...

Thanks sasair.
Actually, I guess more specifically I'm looking for the model # too. Sorry I didn't state this in my first post.

Not sure this is the exact info you are looking for, but if you go into the diag mode on the nav, I thought I remember it listing a model. At least on the RDX it does....

I tried checking in the diagnostic screen, but I couldn't find anything related to gps model number.

Could someone with the electrical troubleshooting manual please provide scans of the pages related to the GPS antenna? I'll need the wiring diagram to know where/what to splice.
I've seen the pages that show the overview of the navi/radio interconnection diagram. I'm hoping there is something more detailed.

Thanks,
Mike

There are a few scans posted somewhere in the forums. Try a search or a PM to Ron A.

zax??? Sorry, I can't keep count of the numbers people place behind their logins.

Thanks datmrman,
I actually ended up just taking the car apart to see for myself. I ended up just adding a USB gps receiver right next to the stock one. I think this is a much easier solution than trying to splice into the factory wiring. Plus I already had the usb gps sitting around.
Here is a photo of the stock gps antenna for those interested.

So does this mean that the entire nav system is Pioneer or is that just the antenna?
