Help on Nav question please (Old Vs. New TL)

I have a 2005 TL. I can currently search for places on my Nav while driving. I heard a long time ago that newer TL's with Nav would force you to be stopped (not driving) in order to enter new destinations in the Nav. Is this true?

Thanks

Are there any functions of the '07–'08 TL's nav system that are disabled when the car is moving?

Thanks for the help.

Thank you very much for the confirmation.

I just wanted to make sure, since wikipedia indicates that the TL's nav system was updated in 2007 to add back-up camera functionality, and in 2008 it got minor updates as well:

The navigation system has been updated to work in Hawaii, and the AcuraLink satellite capability has been expanded to incorporate 76 markets (up from 38 markets for the 2007 model).

I figured Acura could have easily taken away some nav functionality when the vehicle's wheel speed sensors indicated the car was moving (like the OEM nav system in the '07 Altima does), while effecting these minor changes.
